With last night’s thrilling 14-inning win fresh in our heads, the Yankees and Angels get back to Angel Stadium to battle in game two of four from Orange County.

Domingo Germán gets the ball for the Yankees, looking to continue his solid start to the season. He did allow three homers his last time out, although they were all of the solo variety. He ended up turning in another quality start, and has a 2.37 ERA through three starts and one relief appearance.

On the other side of the matchup is fellow righty Chris Stratton. Acquired from the Giants at the end of Spring Training, the early going hasn’t been particularly kind to the 20th overall pick in the 2012 draft. In four starts, he’s the owner of a 7.00 ERA and a massive 11.5 hits-per-9.

Here are the lineups on both sides:

  1. DJ LeMahieu – 3B
  2. Luke Voit – DH
  3. Brett Gardner – CF
  4. Gleyber Torres – SS
  5. Mike Ford – 1B
  6. Mike Tauchman – RF
  7. Austin Romine – C
  8. Thairo Estrada – 2B
  9. Tyler Wade – LF

  1. Kole Calhoun – RF
  2. Mike Trout – CF
  3. Justin Bour – 1B
  4. Andrelton Simmons – SS
  5. Albert Pujols – DH
  6. Brian Goodwin – LF
  7. Kevan Smith – C
  8. Tommy La Stella – 2B
  9. David Fletcher – 3B

What to Watch For: Clint Frazier will sit tonight after injuring his ankle of a pickoff attempt at second base. He told reporters that he felt better today than yesterday. “It’s sore. It’s a little sprain, but it’s one of those things where I went through too much last year to not go out there and play,” Frazier said. “The IL is too full for us, so I’m good. I’m going to keep playing.” Tyler Wade plays left in his place. Thairo Estrada makes his first MLB start at second base tonight after making his MLB debut with a sacrifice bunt April 21.
